Event Schedule

The full running order for Entheofest: every session, when it starts, and who is leading it. Talks run back to back through the day, so come and go as you like.

Running order

  1. 6-8pm

    Book Signing with Abbie Rosner

Abbie Rosner signs her new book, Psychedelics and the Counterculture of Aging, the evening before Entheofest. Our keynote speaker is one of the few writers covering psychedelic use among older adults, in exactly the right bookstore for it.

  1. 11am-2pm

    Main Event

Six years of decriminalization in Ann Arbor, celebrated where it started. Speakers begin at 11am on the Diag.

  2. 2:30pm-4:30pm

Entheogen Decriminalization and Harm Reduction Panels

Panel discussions on the future of decriminalization in Michigan and the practice of harm reduction. Indoors at the Michigan League, steps from the Diag. RSVP for the panel discussions here!

Getting There

Entheofest runs across two venues. Saturday's book signing is at Crazy Wisdom Bookstore on Main Street. Sunday's rally is on the Diag, at the center of the University of Michigan's Central Campus.

Saturday: Crazy Wisdom Bookstore

Crazy Wisdom is at 114 South Main Street, on the west side of Main between Huron and Washington.

Michigan hosts a home football game on September 19th at 3:30pm at Michigan Stadium. Downtown fills early on game days and event rates can override the standard hourly rate. Give yourself extra time.

Two structures are closest.

4th & Washington Structure, 123 East Washington Street. Two blocks east of the bookstore and the shortest walk of any option, about three minutes.

Ann Ashley Structure, 220 North Ashley Street. One block west of Main and two blocks north, about a five minute walk, and the larger of the two if 4th & Washington fills. Some entrances and exits are closed for construction this season, so watch for posted detours.

Sunday: the Diag

Directions to The Diag

Parking is free on Sundays. The rally falls on a Sunday, and every City of Ann Arbor parking structure is free on Sundays, from 4 a.m. Sunday until 4 a.m. Monday. On-street meters are free on Sundays as well, and the structures are gated and operate around the clock.

Two public structures put you closest to the Diag.

Maynard Structure, 324 Maynard Street. The larger of the two, with entrances on both Maynard and Thompson. Some map apps list it as the Thompson/Maynard Garage. From the exit it is roughly a five minute walk east to State Street and north to the Diag. Clearance is 6 feet 8 inches, and there are 16 accessible spaces.

Liberty Square, 510 East Washington Street. One block west of State Street. Walk east on Washington and south on State and you reach the north end of the Diag in about six minutes. Clearance is 7 feet, which makes this the better option for a tall van, and there are 12 accessible spaces.

Both also sit within a few minutes of the Michigan League for the afternoon panels.
