Entheofest celebrates Ann Arbor’s decriminalization of natural plant, fungi, and animal medicine, also known as entheogens.

On September 21, 2020, the Ann Arbor City Council voted unanimously (11-0) to decriminalize entheogens—putting forth the grow, gather, gift model—and putting an end to the immoral and unethical arrest and imprisonment of those using natural medicines to heal themselves.

Washtenaw County extended these protections to the entire county on January 12th, 2021, joining cities like Oakland, Berkeley, and Santa Cruz, CA, helping lead the charge to end the War on Drugs.

Join us for our yearly celebration in Ann Arbor, held at The Diag, located on The Univerisity of Michigan’s main campus.

This is a free speech event featuring harm reduction organizations, authors, scientists, practitioners, activists, and community leaders. There will be music, interactive art, and educational tables ranging from mycology walkthroughs to criminal record expungement tools. Water and packaged snacks will be provided.
